Eyebrow reconstruction has gained popularity in recent years, and with it came several techniques — such as Microblading and, more recently, Nanoblading. But do you know the difference between them? And why has Nanoblading, especially in its Brazilian version, been winning over more and more women around the world?
Nanoblading vs. Microblading. Learn the differences and the Brazilian technique.
Microblading: a well-known but permanent technique
Microblading became popular as a micropigmentation technique that creates hair-like strokes using a blade, shaping the eyebrows in a more defined way. However, despite the immediate results, there is one important point: it is a permanent technique. In other words, the pigment is inserted deeper into the skin and, over time, it may turn grayish, reddish, or become distorted — requiring laser removal for correction.
In addition, Microblading does not adapt as well to the natural changes of the face over time, nor to the unique identity of each client.
Nanoblading: the advanced Brazilian technique that respects natural beauty
Nanoblading emerges as an evolution — a lighter, smarter, and more human response to the needs of real women.
Unlike Microblading, Nanoblading works with controlled depth and extremely delicate, hair-by-hair strokes. The goal is not to “tattoo an eyebrow,” but to reconstruct it naturally, respecting the anatomy, style, and growth cycle of each skin.
Another major difference?
Nanoblading is not permanent. It has an average durability of 10 to 12 months, which allows adjustments over time and does not compromise the future of your skin.
Stimulates hair growth — but without miracle promises
In my Nanoblading technique, developed after years of study and practice with different methods, I noticed a special phenomenon:
In many cases, natural hairs begin to grow in areas where they no longer grew before.
This happens because the technique, when performed with precision and softness in the correct layer of the skin, can activate dormant follicles.
However, it’s important to state responsibly: it is not guaranteed in 100% of cases, because each body responds in its own unique way. But when it happens, it is truly transformative.
The art behind each stroke: my technique is unique — just like each client
After so many courses, specializations, and years of working with women with such different stories and faces, I understood that there is no one-size-fits-all formula.
That’s how I developed my own approach to Nanoblading — a way of creating hair strokes like painting a picture, analyzing every angle, every expression, every skin and hair type.
For me, Nanoblading is an art, not a mold. And it’s this sensitivity that makes each result so unique and natural.
A technique perfected in Brazil, now around the world
Nanoblading is a highly cherished technique in Brazil — a country known for its creativity, innovation, and refined aesthetic sense. Today, it is gaining global recognition as a safe, adaptable, and much gentler alternative for the skin.
If you are looking for eyebrows with a natural, light, and elegant look that enhances your beauty without hiding your essence, it may be time to try Nanoblading.
